The Oakwood Arms is situated in the very heart of County Clare, which has a bountiful collection of Ireland’s most iconic treasures. We are a stone’s throw from Bunratty Castle and Quin Abbey, and just over half an hour from the Burren national park with its ancient Poulnabrone Dolmen and the Cliffs of Moher, where you can take a day trip to the Aran Islands.
Lough Derg to the East of the county provides some of the finest inland lake views in Ireland. Why not start or finish your visit to Ireland’s west without the stress of a commute to the airport?
