Fleadh Nua Ennis     Late May     Held during the last week of May every year, this 8 day festival focuses on all that we hold to be most Irish such as Irish music, Irish dance and other events that are truly Irish. There will be plenty of concerts, workshops and seminars to keep you and your family entertained.

Iniscealtra Festival of Arts Tuamgraney     Late May-Early June     A ten day multi disciplinary Arts Festival focusing on art exhibitions, workshops, music , theatre and film.

Ennis Book Club Festival     Early March     The Ennis Book Club Festival is a social and literary gathering to bring together the many Book Clubs that exist nationwide. The programme includes author visits, readings, lectures, music, workshops, exhibitions and more. You will enjoy poetry in the cosy cafes, readings in the many restaurants and shops, and drama on street corners as you wander through the narrow streets and lanes of Ennis.

Doonbeg International Jazz Festival     Early June     This four day event is an international event celebrating its 8th year and this year will be hosting many acts and bands from all over European and the British Isles as well as plenty of acts from throughout Ireland. As well as the non-stop music there will be ample amounts of grub to keep you sustained during all the sessions.

Spancil Hill Fair     23rd June     One of the oldest horse fairs in Ireland and is also the fair that the famous old song was written about. With a couple of thousand horses on display, you can definitely be sure of an interesting spectacle especially if you are an equine enthusiast.

Feile Brian Buru Festival     Early July     This 5 day event celebrates one of Ireland’s most famous kings. Reputed to have broken the power of the Vikings in Ireland, Brian Ború was originally from Clare. This festival has a distinctive Viking age flair with its Viking village and market. There are plenty of entertaining events taking place throughout the festival so you won’t be short of things to do
