The Oak Wood Arms Hotel was delighted to welcome the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern for the opening of the hotel's new "Palm Court" restaurant and greatly enhanced Conference & Banqueting Facilities.
The Palm Court Restaurant is a brand new experience for our more discerning patrons, with expectations of fine food with discrete and experienced service.
The banqueting hall has one of the most advanced audio, visual & lighting systems in Ireland. The hotel's audio, visual & lighting system has been designed to cater for conferencing, concerts, gala nights and almost any other function that comes to mind.
The room has its own private entrance and is lavishly decorated with one of its main features being its beautiful exposed oak beams and its enormous Spanish chandeliers.
We are pleased to annouce that our interactive tv system is now
completed. All rooms now offer High Speed Internet & E Mail
services/lap top connectivity.
More and more business travellers require a hard-wired connection
for VPN's so that they can connect using a secure connection to the
office.
With our new system, guests will have the option
of using their own personal laptops to do this.
There will also be the facility of high speed internet via the
LCD TV system for those travelling without laptops.
